As Leya continues growing fast, we're looking for an exceptional person passionate to work on Operations to help us grow even faster. We know that Operations means nothing concrete so we want to be specific: fundraising outreach, OpenAI or similar API integrations into creative, talent and product processes, & automations, also be ready to pick up any other ops task - that’s what we call Ops.

We don’t expect you to know it all, but we expect you to be a passionate and quick learner. Though, we must warn you - it will be bloody difficult. We are an early stage startup where risky yet calculated decisions have to be executed meticulously to win big or lose it all. If that’s what drives you, you’ll thrive.

The Role
Our most important focus right now is the upcoming fundraising round. As the Operations Specialist, you will own the fundraising pipeline from start to the initial meetings with potential investors, ensuring we connect with the most relevant VCs globally. Also, with the help of AI, you will automate processes within Leya, ultimately transforming how the team works on a daily basis, making us even more effective.

As the Operations Specialist, you’ll be part of a small, fast-paced team where agility and innovation are the norms. Our hierarchy is as flat as a pancake, so you will work directly with the founders and other founding teammates!

In this role, you will:

Manage fundraising outreach: Own and maintain an already functioning system for reaching out to VCs. Your tasks will include scraping VC lists, using AI tools to qualify them, then extracting and scraping leads from the companies. You will construct and maintain outreach campaigns to connect with the best VC partners worldwide. As an Operations Specialist, you will also analyze this process and constantly improve it.

Implement AI and different tools: Integrate tools and AI systems (e.g. OpenAI or other LLMs providers) to create frameworks that enhance the work of the Leya AI team. AI has power to 10x our velocity, but in this task, it’s ultimately worthless without you.
HUGE P.S.: no coding skills required, we currently do this without knowing coding :)

Build dashboards: Create simple yet understandable & impactful data visualizations to use key data to support Leya AI marketing, talent acquisition, fundraising, and other strategic efforts.

Handle ad-hoc admin and operational tasks: You (or AI!) will take care of other small but important tasks that help us to speed up the work process.

Bring new ideas to the table: Keep your eyes wide open and share your ideas to optimize our operations. We trust that a master of many hats like you are will notice both the small and big opportunities all around.

Must-haves:

• Ability to prioritize & solve complex problems by understanding their DNA & the goals to craft and implement the best solution.

• Get things done attitude in everything you do—be it a small assignment or major project.

• Some experience working with data, from scraping and cleaning to analyzing and visualizing it, or partial involvement in this process—whether through an exciting university project or professional experience.

• Some experience with using AI tools for tasks relevant for this position, such as data handling, automation creation, and others.

Advantages:

• Experience in no-code tools and using Google Sheets Apps Script.

• Competence in process automation, from simple workflows to solving complex issues.

• 1+ year of experience working as an Operations Specialist or a similar role. This is an advantage, but definitely not a must!

• Is quick to pick up new concepts – a perpetual learner.
